About Allison

Hello! Thank you for visiting my site and having a look. I am an artist living in the stunning Highlands of Scotland, originally from Canada. Ever since I was a child I enjoyed creating and making with my hands; It is the best way for me to feel free and relax. I have grown up dancing and enjoy exploring movements and energy in a physical sense as well as with materials. I try to incorporate colour and texture into my work offering different eyes and minds the ability to see what they like. I love the feel of creating art and running my fingers over its smooth and rough surfaces.

I am always exploring and trying new techniques. It is a world of constant opportunities for learning. I enjoy attending workshops to gain knowledge and inspiration from other artists and am always excited and amazed by the talent that exists here and everywhere! I am proud to be a member of Art Lochaber, which is a wonderful local group of talented artists living in the highlands.
